Serious Stages Ltd

We are one of Europe's most experienced companies in the supply and erection of temporary staging, buildings and special structures. The Company builds stages and structures at more than 200 events a year, ranging from small stages for local events, to large roofed stages for most of the best known rock festivals in Europe, North America and Australia. We have also worked on projects as diverse as constructing buildings on top of mountains in the Alps during the winter, to a structure in the Sahara desert in summer.
Serious began constructing stages in 1981 and has grown steadily over the past years as the market has developed in size and sophistication. Serious now builds a wide range of stages, buildings and special structures for an impressive list of clients
Around 80% of the company's work is repeat jobs for existing clients, a statistic which underlines our reliable service and personal approach.

Location

The Company is based near Bristol, in the West of England. Sales, Design and Production are integrated in a suite of offices, ensuring production continuity. Equipment operations are handled from an adjacent industrial unit, and stockyard. Many specialised steel and aluminium components are manufactured in Serious' own workshops. Equipment and production facilities are also maintained in Australia, Italy, the Caribbean and Spain. Serious also has construction partners in Germany and North America.

Resources

A policy of continuous investment in equipment, personnel and operational technology ensures that structures are tailored to the requirements of each event and meet all relevant safety standards. All the decking, roofing, access and weather proofing used by the company is wholly owned by the Serious group of companies. Full time staff are employed in all the key areas of the design, production and construction process. The experience of the crew used to erect structures on site ensures that the work is completed safely, and on schedule. Serious Stages offers full technical back up coupled with in-house 3-D CAD drawings and engineering calculations. Chartered engineers are also retained, where appropriate.
