Space Building

The Space Building is the latest edition to the range of buildings offered by Serious. It has been designed to meet the exacting demands of any productions, with ease.
The unique construction method allows infinite profile and width possibilities. The double D-End gives the buildings a distinctive look from any angle without losing height or wasting valuable floor space. The profiles used produce plenty of height across the width of the building so mezzanines and/or grandstand seating can be used. The buildings can all be built within their own footprint, without groundwork, anchors, guys or outriggers.

Space Sizes - arch widths available are 28m, 36m, 41m and 45m. The distance between the arches can be varied so that most building lengths are possible. The profile of the arches provides good trim heights even with straight truss runs. Trim heights range from 12m for the 28m arch, up to 16m for the 45m.

Space Flying - The Space Building is designed for flying substantial loads. Allowable loads vary according to the span: at 28m wide the Space Building will support 18 tonnes UDL per single arch - even at 45m wide, 8 tonnes may be flown on every arch. Flying is straightforward - loads can be applied at any point along the truss using a simple round sling or steel.
