Tower Roof

Tower roof system. The term tower roof describes a method of ground supporting a stage roof from marts. There is one principle advantage of using this approach - it can give an uninterrupted view of the whole stage from any position around the stage. This openness should be at the heart of any stage arrangement using towers. It should be borne in mind that the openness of this design will reduce the available off-stage areas, and may also reduce the amount of shelter available to the stage. To ensure clients are able to get the most from these systems, a range of ancillary sheeting and structures have been developed to complement this roof option.

The 15m Arched roof uses steel masts which form a seamless connection between the stage base and roof, so none of the flexibility of the stage base is lost. The arching of the roof increases its load capacity. If secondary rigging is used the arch hides the rigging, and gives extra shelter and trim height. Typical size combinations are 25m x 14.4m, and 20m x 20.6m.

The 15m Flat roof is based on Slick Maxi Beam. The roof allows the rigging of light directly onto the roof grid, saving the cost of secondary rigging on both the budget and sight lines. This allows enough height for lighting designers, but keeps overall height to a minimum. Typical size combinations are 15m x 12m.

The 20m FLAT roof grid is the same as the 20m flown roof. It is supported by two double and four single masts. Typical size combinations are 20m x 12m.
